Goals. You’ve got ’em.
Like finally finishing your child’s baby book. Sure, he’s 25 now but better late than never, right?
While you’re working on that, you also have a goal to lose some weight and get in shape. And you’re fired up about it…for now.
You see, goals—as exciting as they are to set—are only as motivating as the value you appoint to them.
Left unattended, your goals will stay stuck on their 3×5 cards and never make a meaningful difference in your life. However, when they’re thoughtfully chosen and pursued, your goals can propel you forward. They can guide your steps and serve as a filter for your choices.
In fact, your goals can help you live in line with your values and fulfill the calling that God has placed on your life.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10
