Platinum Coaching Call Sneak Peek: Is Overeating a Sin?

It might be okay if the messages were all the same. But there are so many different opinions, thoughts, and even “facts” about food. It’s easy to get confused.

Sometimes, you get caught up in the messaging so much that you start to fall back into those old patterns of all-or-nothing-eating. After all, a life with no food rules can feel overwhelming.

Does eating a certain type of food make you righteous? Does excluding a certain kind of food make you holier?

Food is meant to be a gift from God. He created all the flavors, tastes and textures that we enjoy.

But humans tend to get things twisted. Too much of a good thing is often not a good thing.

As we discuss often in our Platinum program, food itself is not a sin. Sin is a heart issue.

It’s possible to approach food in such a way that it’s a sin for one person, and not a sin for another. Does that sound confusing?

It’s all about your heart. It’s about the convictions that God gives us of us individually, and yours might be different from mine.

We talked at length about this topic in a recent coaching call in our Platinum group. We discussed overeating, eating the “right” foods, and what it means to sin with food.

If you’ve ever wondered if Platinum is for you, tune in to this week’s podcast! We’re sharing a behind-the-scenes look by giving you a sneak peak at our coaching call.

You’ll get an upfront look at the encouragement, friendship, and help you can find in the Platinum program. The program offers you the tools you need to embrace the freedom God offers you as His child–without a list of rules, foods to avoid, or anything to measure and count.
