Meal Prep Tips You Need to Know

“What’s for dinner?”

Even though you (or some well-meaning but hungry family member) asks this pretty much every day, it’s still a question that can strike fear in your heart.

On a random Wednesday, you may do a quick check and find some frozen chicken, spinach in the fridge and a couple of potatoes in the pantry.

Can you make a meal out of that?

When you add into the mix a husband who likes meat with dinner and kids who only want chicken nuggets or mac and cheese, eating out seems like the best option.

Trust me, sis, we’ve all been there! That’s why meal prep is so important for our health, our budgets and our sanity!

Now, I’m not talking about color-coding your fridge storage, ordering meal kits or spending your Sunday cooking and filling freezer bags. While that’s a great plan for some people, for many of us, it’s just not realistic.

Here at Grace-Filled Plate, we believe in keeping things simple and doable, making your recipes healthier, and cooking stress-free.  You and your family can still enjoy your favorite meals.

All it takes is some meal prep that you can tackle in just a few minutes, but will save you loads of time later.
