Should I Weigh Myself?
What does it mean to be healthy? Living a healthy lifestyle includes things like being active, drinking water, sleeping well and having more energy.
Even with all of these amazing benchmarks and goals, many women base all of their progress on the scale. When the number is low enough, life is good, your mood is good and the day is good.
But when the scale isn’t what you hope for, you start to feel discouraged. Instead of focusing on the good progress you have made, you worry about this number that is only one small part of your goal.
For that reason, many women find the scale is not a helpful way to guage progress. However, if weight loss is your main goal, don’t you need the scale to judge how it’s going?
The truth is, the scale is only a tool. It doesn’t have to be the end-all, be-all of your goals. There are so many ways you can start living a healthy lifestyle that involve how you feel.
Weighing yourself is a personal decision. Some ladies find it motivating, and others find it discouraging.
So, how you can know which choice is right for you? When you ask, “Should I weigh myself?” there are a few things to consider.
We’re going to go in-depth into this question, and discuss the possible answers. You’ll learn how to know if weighing is right for you.
Maybe you should stop weighing yourself for a while. Or, weighing yourself less often might be the best option for you. We’ll also talk about the best times and ways to weigh-in, so you can get a better overall view of your progress.
