You Can Stop Eating at Enough: 5 Transformational Tips to Help

Have you ever finished eating a delicious meal and found yourself feeling stuffed and bloated? It was so good, you just couldn’t stop eating. So you went too far and ate too much.

You’ve heard people say that you should “stop eating at enough” but how do you do it when you feel compelled in the moment to have just one more mouthful? How can you even know when you’ve hit that magical “enough” bite?

The first thing to consider is this: In our modern world, food is hyper-palatable. It’s designed to make you want more and more. And you’re often distracted with things like your phone or the TV as you’re eating.

And let’s not forget distracted eating. You’re scrolling through social media while eating your salad, then you look down and realize it’s all gone. Where did it go and why do you still want more, even though you shouldn’t?

Well, sis, it’s hard for your body to feel satisfied when your eyes aren’t sure you’ve even eaten anything!

On top of all this, sometimes you don’t stop at enough simply because you don’t want to. You’ve become used to denying yourself the foods you love. So when you do allow yourself a sliver of cake, it’s hard to stop at just one.

After all, tomorrow you’ll need to be “good” again and cake will be off-limits.

Between foods that are meant to make you crave more, distracted eating, and a scarcity mindset, identifying when you’ve eaten enough and stopping there can be a struggle.

Today, let’s chat about how you can stop eating at enough. I’ll share with you 5 transformational tips that will not only help you realize when you’ve had enough to eat, but also show you how to stop eating when you get there.

Whether you’re struggling with knowing when you’ve had enough, or you can’t seem to find the willpower to stop, these tips will help!
