How to Pause and Bring Jesus into Your Food Struggle

You know that moment in a movie where everything suddenly goes into slow motion? The camera zooms out and you can see every second of the action clearly.

Wouldn’t it be great if you could have one of those slow motion buttons in real life?

Right in the middle of bulldozing through a whole pack of Oreos or crunching your way to the bottom of a bag of pretzels, you could slow down and zoom out.

In that moment, you could see yourself clearly and understand why you’re in the middle of a food binge. During your slow motion pause, you could turn to Jesus, and invite Him in to stand with you and offer the strength you need.

While there’s no such thing as a pause or slow motion button in real life, you do have the opportunity to bring Jesus into your struggle.

The truth is, He knows you intimately. And when you have Him, you never walk alone.

In the middle of all the noise, chaos and confusion of your life, He’s there with you. He wants you to invite Him in—because He’s already there!

He’s the still, small voice that whispers peace into your soul.

Let me show you how to press pause and invite Jesus in your food struggle. How to allow the Holy Spirit to help you heal your true need. Let’s explore the different ways in which Jesus steps in to help when you’re struggling. Discover how to prepare yourself mentally ahead of time, or how to stop in the middle of unwanted behavior. And learn how to turn to Him after unwanted behavior and pray to do better the next time.

In “How to Pause and Bring Jesus into Your Struggle” we discuss:

  • How to change your eating behaviors and identify the real reason why you’re struggling.
  • How to prepare mentally to change your eating habits.
  • How you can heal your food struggles from the inside out
