How to Manage Your Weight Loss with Grace and Wisdom

How many weight loss programs have you tried while searching for “the perfect diet?” There are dozens—maybe hundreds—of different diets, food plans, exercise programs, and more. Count points, calories, macros, fats…there’s always something to measure or weigh.

If you search online for “the best diet,” you’ll get almost a billion results. Yes, nearly a billion responses to help you find the best diet. And every answer is different from the last.

But, if there was one diet that worked for every single body, wouldn’t most of us have reached our goal weight by now?

Everyone is searching for the one magical diet that will work—a one-size-fits-all solution that makes the weight away like butter under a hot knife. Smooth and easy.

Well, let me tell you up front: I don’t like diets.

I encourage women to embrace food freedom and seek to honor God with their food choices. For many people, this method works better than trying to stick to a restrictive food plan.

You see, counting and measuring pushes some people over the edge and drives them crazy until they give up altogether. But this isn’t so for everyone. Since we’re all different, no two people will find success with exactly the same plan. While some women struggle to count or track while others thrive on it.

So instead of asking yourself about the best diet, it’s time for a different question.

How can you manage your weight loss with grace and wisdom? How do you balance being on a healthy eating plan without becoming obsessed with restrictive diets?

Let’s chat about what it means to manage weight loss with grace—losing weight while honoring God with your body. When you start asking the right question and putting your focus, in the right place you’ll find the balance that works for you!

In “How to Manage Your Weight Loss with Grace and Wisdom” we discuss:

  • The balance between tracking weight loss goals and asking for God’s help
  • How to rewire your habits to find food freedom
  • Making healthy choices based on what fuels your body
